Do you have a shuttle service / bus service?
Yes. The LALC has a dedicated bus/shuttle service for students for SY 2009 - 2010. There are also independent contractors that service the LALC students and faculty. We are also arranging a car-pool system for our students and teachers. Please ask your child’s teacher regarding the monthly rates for the shuttle service.
What is the teacher-student ratio?
We maintain a strict maximum adult-student ratio of 1:8 per class. Sometimes, the ratio reaches as much as 1:4.
Are you affiliated with De La Salle University?
The Little Archers Learning Center is not officially a part of the One LaSalle network, but we draw inspiration from the teachings and values imparted to us by our Lasallian educators, and particularly from our Patron, St. John Baptist De La Salle. We also count several of the Brothers of the Christian Schools as our independent advisers of the operations and values development programs of the school.
What are the qualifications of your teachers?
Our head teachers are all education or psychology graduates from the top schools of the country, and most of them are en route to completing (or have already completed) post-graduate studies. Our teachers are all hard-working, dedicated, compassionate and nurturing individuals who want to start your child on the right path towards living with joy and faith in their lives.
Are you DEPEd accredited?
We are currently processing our DEPEd accreditation. Rest assured, however, that our curriculum and systems meet or exceed the required parameters set by the government. We have all other government permits and requirements for operation.
What is the Scholastic Preschool Literacy Program?
The Scholastic Preschool Literacy Program is an integrated Language and Literacy curriculum that systematically teaches children to read. It starts when they are toddlers expanding their vocabularies, and ends with Prep-level students who are functional readers and writers. The LALC is only the seventh school in the country, and the first in Parañaque, to be licensed to use the Scholastic Preschool Literacy Program.
What is the LALC Food Program?
The LALC Food Program is our supplementary in-house nutrition and etiquette program for the students. For a minimal amount, parents can have their children participate in the Food Program and give their children a variety of healthy snack options while they are in school. The Food Program also serves to help the children learn about different types of food and to allow them to model proper eating habits and procedures to one another.
What is the age of entry of your students?
We work backwards from the age of entry of grade one students in the Philippines, which is set at 7 years old by December of the current school year. Thus, our age of entry for Prep is 6 by December; Kinder, 5 years old; Nursery, 4 years old, and Toddler, 3.5 and below.
Are you strictly enforcing the age of entry rule?
Some grade schools are more flexible with their age requirements. The age of entry of the students is used as a benchmark for the development of their cognitive and physical abilities. We recognize that some children can be at different developmental stages from the norm, and we respond to this accordingly. Students are assessed upon entry, and their progress and development is regularly assessed during the school year. If a student merits acceleration or academic bridging to a higher level, or if they are deemed more suited to lower levels, we bring up the matter with the parents towards putting the children in classes where they will thrive.
Do you offer grade school levels?
No. The LALC is a preschool education institution. We focus on the development and education of children six years old and below, and do not wish to dilute our concentration on preschool aged children.
Is this a franchise operation? Do you want to franchise the LALC?
No. The Little Archers Learning Center is not a franchise, and we do not wish to franchise the Little Archers Learning Center. We believe that education is a sacred duty, and that educational excellence and passion for children is not something that can be wrapped up and served like french fries and hamburgers.
How much does your tuition cost? Why don’t you release your tuition fee rates over the phone or Internet?
We believe that education is not a commodity. We feel that revealing the cost of our tuition and fees over the phone or Internet reduces preschool education to a product where the sole consideration is the amount one spends for it, and not the intangible value of such an education. We would also like to be able to discuss our schedule of fees with the parents or guardians of the student in person to be able to address any issues or questions quickly and easily.
Do you offer discounts on your tuition fees?
Yes, we give discount on our tuition fees. Please ask you Center Director or teachers about the discounts available.

If you’re a parent who thinks we’re too far in Parañaque, but would like to have their child become a Little Archer, drop us a line at info@littlearchers.com and let us know where you’d like us to put up a branch. We shall be updating everyone about branch expansion developments very soon!
How do you assess your students for entry? Is there a fee for assessment of future students?
Teachers will interview prospective students and administer a brief assessment test to gauge the student’s capabilities. Assessment of prospective students is free.
How do you assess your students in class?
We use several instruments to properly assess your child’s progress in school. These are in the form of anecdotal reports based on observation in school, worksheets and take-home exercises, individual and group exercises, and individual and group tests. We do not rely on only one form of assessment to gauge a student’s performance in the Little Archers Learning Center.
Do you accelerate students?
Yes, we accelerate students as long as the child merits acceleration, and can handle the advanced curriculum and content.
Do the students have a uniform?
Yes, the students wear uniforms to school. Please see our pictures for an idea of the uniform of our students.
Why should I enroll my child at the LALC?
The Little Archers Learning Center has a distinct advantage over other preschools because of our faculty, our facilities, and our curriculum. Check out the LALC Advantage here.

Yes. Our summer program usually lasts from the Monday after Easter Sunday until the second week of May. Learn more about our Summer Program here.
Can we schedule a trial class for my child? How much does a trial class cost?
Of course! We would like nothing more than to invite you and your child to witness the LALC Advantage first hand in a one-day trial class. Trial classes are free, but we would appreciate it if you would let us know at least one day in advance about your desire to have a trial class so we can prepare the necessary materials for your child.
Where do your graduates go for grade school?
We’re proud to say that our students have so far been batting 100%! Our students are able to go to the school of their choice right after leaving the LALC. Some students even get accepted in multiple schools, and parents have a hard time deciding where to send their child for grade school!
Do you accept special students?
We accept special needs students in our classes. We have an inclusion program for special needs students, but we strictly accept a maximum of one (1) special needs student in each class schedule. This is meant to protect the interests of both the special needs student and their classmates - having too many special needs students in the class can distract the teachers from facilitating the class properly, and provides a disservice to all the students. Some students may be required to get a shadow teacher in order to help them master the concepts needed.
Can I enroll my child in October? Do you have an open enrollment system?
Yes. You can even enroll your child in January of the current school year, if you want. We recognize that children develop at different paces, and we respond to this dynamic reality by being flexible in our admission of new students. Our open enrollment system allows the parent to send their child to school only when the child is ready for it.
Can I pullout my child in the middle of the school year?
Although we recognize that some expedient circumstances regarding the child may force the parents to pull their children out of the school during the middle of the school year, it is understood that a child enrolling at the Little Archers Learning Center enrolls for the duration of the school year. Students who are pulled-out may still be charged for any outstanding balances if the child pulls out after the second week of classes. Exemptions may be granted for meritorious reasons.
When does your school year start and end?
We follow the Philippine school calendar: our school year begins in June and ends in March of the following year. We also follow all government mandated holidays.
