Text Box: Volume 1, Issue 2
Second Trimester
Schoolyear ‘07-’08
Text Box: The “specialness” of Christmas comes to us in the truth that Jesus came to us not as a strong, assertive man, but rather as a small, innocent, helpless child. Christmas is special because it is during this time that we are reminded how this little child brought with Him all the hopes and aspirations of the world.
Going to school everyday, and encountering every child that has been placed in our care constantly reminds us of this reality. This is not a responsibility that we take lightly, for in each and every Little Archer in our care lies dormant a seed for true and lasting change. We are not educating men and women—we are educating children: boys and girls. And for these Text Box: boys and girls, there is no race, or nationality or gender, or social status that determines how one should live their lives. Rather, it is the common values of truth, honesty, fairness and justice that guides our daily interactions.
These same values are the ones that the Christ child brought with Him as He
came into this world,
and these are the
same values we hope
that our Little
Archers will bring
with them as they
become men and
women of substance.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of life, of the challenges that the daily grind brings us, it is such a wonderful and humbling privilege to be Text Box: trusted with caring for and educating the future leaders of this country.
Thank you, dear parents for entrusting us with this joint responsibility—we shall never
   waver from the task of
       making our Little Archers
ones we can all be proud of.

     From our families to yours,
          and from our hearts to
                    yours, we wish
	       you a very Merry
		Christmas
	        and a joyful
		 New Year!
