Text Box: For two consecutive Fridays in October, the Little Archers Learning Center was the venue for special celebrations for both parents and students.
On October 19, the LALC celebrated cultural diversity and fraternal unity by holding a United Nations Day Celebration. In order to promote awareness for the different cultures in the world, students came in different costumes from all the seven continents, complete with respective dishes from their specific countries. Parents were treated to a special parade of nations done by the students, and later feasted on delicacies from around the world! Parents eagerly whipped out their cameras to capture the special LALC rendition of “It’s a Small World” in order to capture their little one’s performance. The students were then given a project to take home – flags from the countries they were representing!

Text Box: The next Friday, October 26, saw the LALC transformed into a spooky school, with cobwebs, pumpkins, pirates and witches decorating the school in celebration of Halloween. Students and teachers came in their Text Box: Halloween best costumes. Fairies, pirates, vampires, and even Dora the Explorer and a Jedi Knight came to the LALC! The students were treated to Halloween themed goodies such as spider cookies, “bloody” spaghetti and green, slimey juice drinks. We also had Halloween games and activities for the kids, like a spider fear-factor, pumpkin coloring, and clay-moulding. The parents and teachers then gave the students candies and chocolates in a special trick or treat activity!
