Little Archers Learning Center Center Directress Teacher Katz and Program Director Teacher Noni went to the Scholastic Books headquarters one fine day in January Text Box: to sign the license agreement with Scholastic Books representative Mr. Rodel Lumbo.

Text Box: We had an exciting second fieldtrip last February 15! We started off the day visiting the Museo Pambata. The Mad Science people presented scientific lessons in a fun and creative way. Our own Little Archers even volunteered to do some activities in front of everybody.
Then, we were given a tour of the different centers around Museo. The kids really were in awe of all the interactive stuff that involved history, social studies, science and the arts.
We headed off to the Orchidarium to have our lunch. It was also a time of bonding for all of us with everybody sharing food with each other. We were given a tour of the orchid and butterfly garden but the kids were more excited about the forest like setting of the Orchidarium, especially when we came to a place where the kids had to cross a pond by stepping on stones one at a time. One of them described it as having seen the place in one of Dora’s adventures.
Our last stop was the Kinder Zoo. Here, the kids were given the chance to touch and pet the animals they learned about in school. Some of them even got to ride a full grown ostrich! We loved feeding the pot bellied pig that never seemed to stop Text Box: eating. The adults had fun as well, touching and holding reptiles and birds for their kids to see.
On the way home, everybody was tired but happy. Some of them were caught on cam snoring in the bus! We may have been tired, but there were lots of memories made that won’t be forgotten on that day.
